Mentors needed

"Having a mentor was the difference between having the encouragement to move forward and giving up." These words from Dan who planted a church several years ago illustrate the value of having a friend to come alongside. Church planting can be very lonely - especially if the planter is starting without a team and with no one close who is in their network or group. Even if they are in a network or denomination, they may be the only one in the region, so they are still alone.

One of the goals of Accelerate will be to help identify and pair up mentors with church planters. There needs to be a "right fit" and a commitment to walk the long haul.

If you are a church planter, do you have a mentor or a friend you can talk to regularly? Church planting is an exciting and often stressful experience, yet with great potential for Christ's Kingdom. Let's make sure we have people on our team.

Have you planted a church, you're in the next phase, but you still "remember"? Consider being a mentor and friend to come alongside a church planter.

ACCELERATE PRAYER
-We are praying for 8-10 church planting leaders to be part of a leadership team for Accelerate. This team will help provide direction and collaborate for greater impact.
